On behalf of our Board and staff right around the world, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to AVI’s President Sam Mostyn on today’s announcement from Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on her appointment to the role of incoming Governor-General of Australia.
This extraordinary and incredibly well-deserved achievement is a testament to Sam’s exceptional leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public service for decades, including here with us at AVI.
Sam’s passion for a more just world and in particular, gender equality – something we strive to further every day – has had a profound impact on all those who have the pleasure of working with her.
As she steps into this new chapter, we have no doubt Sam will continue to inspire and bring about positive change wherever she goes and that she will represent Australia on the world stage with her unwavering conviction, grace and respect.
